Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive futures research on emerging technologies, societal shifts, and global megatrends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models to guide executive decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops on disruptive technologies and their market implications
- Monitor and analyze competitive landscapes, regulatory shifts, and geopolitical factors affecting future business models
- Build and maintain an expert network across AI, biotech, climate tech, and emerging domains
- Present future-focused strategic recommendations to the board and C-suite leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology Policy, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures insights into executable strategies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight work with measurable business impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent preferred
