Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop 5-10 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into concrete product development plans
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated future challenges and opportunities
- Deliver executive briefings and stakeholder presentations on future risk/reward scenarios
- Establish competitive intelligence frameworks for next-generation market positioning
- Author thought leadership content on technological singularity and human-machine symbiosis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative/qualitative field
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial applications
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience with global trend analysis and cross-cultural innovation ecosystems
