Responsibilities
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Produce strategic foresight reports synthesizing quantum computing, AGI, and climate tech trends
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions (e.g., neural interfaces, carbon capture AI)
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in post-human augmentation
- Design scenario-planning models for geopolitical shifts affecting global tech adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops translating futurist insights into product roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological convergence milestones
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced R&D planning
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI development
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Published work in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry white papers
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, scenario modeling)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused initiatives launched to market
