Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for board-level stakeholders on future market disruptions
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping of next-gen products and services
- Establish cross-functional partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Produce trend reports and predictive models using proprietary data analytics platforms
- Advise on ethical AI governance and sustainable tech implementation strategies
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized solutions
- Proficiency in trend-mapping tools (Gartner, Forrester) and predictive modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., APF) or equivalent professional designation
- Experience navigating regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
