Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for 2026+ horizon, integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing trends
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across global markets, regulatory landscapes, and technological advancements
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with long-term strategic objectives
- Present compelling scenario analyses and risk assessments to executive leadership and board members
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to translate strategic vision into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and industry white papers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Track record of developing successful long-term strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Deep understanding of global geopolitical and economic factors shaping technology adoption
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFSD, CFS) strongly preferred
