Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and execute enterprise innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term strategic objectives
- Champion design thinking methodologies across departments to accelerate prototyping and validation
- Partner with R&D teams to translate futuristic concepts into market-ready products and services
- Establish and maintain an external innovation ecosystem through strategic partnerships with academia and startups
- Present visionary insights to stakeholders through compelling data narratives and scenario planning
- Mentor innovation champions to cultivate a culture of calculated risk-taking and continuous evolution
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology leadership roles
- Proven track record of implementing successful innovation frameworks in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Strong executive presence with experience influencing C-suite decisions
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management preferred
