As a key member of our Global Futures Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and venture partners to identify paradigm shifts, assess disruptive technologies, and develop actionable strategies that position us at the vanguard of progress. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of technology, sociology, and business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop and publish horizon-scanning reports on future market opportunities and competitive threats
- Design strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term corporate vision and stakeholder expectations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D initiatives
- Advise executive leadership on technology adoption curves and portfolio optimization
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist thought leaders and academic partnerships
- Present strategic futures narratives to investors, clients, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (books, whitepapers, keynotes)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on technology disruption
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with specialization in Innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives launched from foresight work
