Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and analyze emerging technological trends and societal shifts
- Develop strategic frameworks for client adoption of 2026-focused innovations (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Produce foresight reports and scenario-planning models for Fortune 500 clients
- Manage R&D partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA-aligned initiatives
- Design and implement innovation pipelines for sustainable technology deployment
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and future-mapping methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field with 8+ years of strategic planning experience
- Proven track record in developing technology roadmaps for 2025+ adoption cycles
- Expertise in trend analysis using tools like Gartner Hype Cycle and Delphi Method
- Deep knowledge of emerging domains: quantum computing, AI governance, neurotech, and climate tech
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis) and data visualization platforms
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation publications (e.g., Futures Journal, MIT Tech Review)
- Security clearance preferred for government-contract work
