Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ technology landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Analyze global megatrends to inform $2B R&D pipeline decisions
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members with actionable recommendations
- Build and lead a dedicated futurist innovation lab with 15+ specialists
- Partner with product teams to commercialize emerging technologies
- Represent Horizon at Davos, CES, and global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with innovation focus
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Experience leading high-budget R&D initiatives (>$50M)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech innovation
- Deep network of global innovation ecosystem contacts
