Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon trends across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and present future scenario frameworks to C-suite leadership and board stakeholders
- Design cross-functional innovation roadmaps with measurable impact milestones
- Lead global trend-sensing initiatives through expert networks and proprietary research
- Translate complex future insights into actionable product and business strategies
- Champion a culture of future-readiness across 15+ departments
- Author quarterly Future Outlook reports influencing $500M+ investment decisions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Exceptional executive communication with ability to influence C-suite decisions
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating future-shaping initiatives launched to market
