Responsibilities
- Map emerging technology trajectories (AI, quantum, biotech, nanotech) through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with organizational vision and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate breakthrough solutions for global challenges
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments for high-impact technological shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present foresight findings to C-suite and external stakeholders via compelling narratives
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-cultural trends affecting technology adoption
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
