Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic innovation roadmap aligning with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives in AI ethics, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Partner with C-suite to translate future trends into actionable business strategies
- Curate and host high-stakes foresight workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Drive patent development for proprietary future-facing technologies
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, synthetic biology, climate tech, or quantum systems
- Exceptional scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Experience advising C-level executives on future-proofing organizations
