Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and global megatrends to develop comprehensive 2026 innovation scenarios
- Design and execute strategic foresight initiatives including horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact assessments
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops and hackathons to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks for evaluating future market viability and competitive landscapes
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, industry talks, and advisory board participation
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing methodologies and adaptive planning techniques
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge across exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in technology-driven innovation
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (required)
