Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing, neurotech, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and startup founders
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable product development plans
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal workshops and external thought leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching products from future-tech concepts (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation (e.g., IEEE, Nature Futures)
- Experience with emerging tech commercialization in regulated industries
- Strong network connections with global research institutions and tech accelerators
- Ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse audiences
