Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-vision into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Produce strategic whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences and academic journals
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Design and implement 'Future Audits' to assess organizational readiness for paradigm shifts
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability ecosystem
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or technology consulting
- Published research on exponential technologies (quantum, bio-AI, neurotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and weak signal detection
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Experience with Delphi methodology and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of emerging regulatory landscapes for 2026 technologies
