Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing technologies
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Quantify market opportunities and risks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Mentor innovation teams in design thinking and future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFPS) or innovation frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-forward initiatives
