Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption trends
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify future-proof business opportunities
- Partner with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Produce actionable trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor teams in future-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, corporate foresight, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation publications
- Experience with strategic roadmapping and portfolio management
