Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to map 5-10 year innovation horizons
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into enterprise ecosystems
- Partner with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with future market realities
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for disruptive industry shifts and black swan events
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Translate complex foresight into compelling narratives that drive stakeholder alignment and investment
- Oversee the creation of Horizon Dynamics' annual Future State Report
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing trend analysis or thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their commercial applications
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex adaptive systems
- Experience designing and executing large-scale innovation initiatives across global markets
- Certification in Futures Methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique) required
