Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate future insights into strategic initiatives
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech, climate engineering) for commercial viability
- Design prototype futures through immersive simulations and stakeholder co-creation sessions
- Present strategic frameworks to global clients through keynote presentations and whitepapers
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight intelligence ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or tech foresight with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record in translating foresight into market-ready innovation portfolios
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends: AGI, synthetic biology, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFS) or equivalent training
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry whitepapers
