Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning 2026 market opportunities with organizational capabilities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and executive teams
- Produce actionable foresight reports with risk/opportunity matrices
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and evaluate frontier startups
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Drive innovation culture through internal futures literacy programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of influencing multi-billion-dollar strategic decisions
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains
- Exceptional facilitation skills for executive-level scenario planning
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (TED talks, journals)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020+ technology predictions with 80%+ accuracy
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies preferred
