Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast industry disruptions through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging markets and disruptive technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable strategic initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and executive briefings on future business models
- Partner with R&D to identify and prioritize breakthrough innovation opportunities
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track organizational adaptation metrics
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation with demonstrated futurist impact
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of developing successful future-focused strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/CFP) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio published in peer-reviewed foresight journals or major business publications
