Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, horizon scanning, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging market disruptions
- Design and execute immersive foresight workshops for C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Build predictive analytics models forecasting technological adoption curves and market shifts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to identify breakthrough innovations
- Create annual 'Future State' reports translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Mentor innovation teams in design thinking, agile methodologies, and future literacy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurism with proven 3-5 year horizon planning success
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or sustainable tech
- Certified in Futures Thinking (e.g., from WFS or APF) or equivalent advanced degree
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning work and trend forecasting accuracy
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience leading high-impact innovation initiatives with measurable ROI
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices, causal layered analysis)
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and pivot strategies based on emerging data
