Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum systems)
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ technology adoption scenarios
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to translate future trends into business opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and executive briefings on technological disruption
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing architectures and capabilities
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Analyze geopolitical/socioeconomic factors impacting technology evolution timelines
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating complex tech trends into commercial strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven scenario modeling experience
- Strong executive communication ability with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR, APF)
