- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 5-7 year adoption timelines
- Partner with VCs and research institutions to scout breakthrough innovations
- Translate complex future scenarios into board-ready strategic recommendations
- Build and lead a specialized 'Future Tech' incubation unit
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Deep expertise in future forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi studies)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in technology disruption journals
- Experience scaling innovation labs from concept to market
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Assessment preferred
