- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into corporate vision
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with exponential growth potential
- Establish global partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present future-tech forecasts to stakeholders with compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in future-tech forecasting
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Track record of launching at least two disruptive products/services
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex system interactions
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for experimental initiatives
