Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen sustainable tech solutions
- Develop ethical frameworks for responsible AI and autonomous systems deployment
- Secure $10M+ in strategic partnerships and government innovation grants
- Present future tech vision to C-suite, investors, and regulatory bodies
- Mentor emerging engineers in emerging technology specializations
- Monitor global tech policy shifts to ensure compliance and competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, generative AI, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of scaling R&D teams from 5 to 50+ engineers
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or top-tier AI/quantum journals
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or DARPA partnerships
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act and global tech governance trends
