Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions in rapid innovation cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and disruptor startups
- Analyze global tech landscapes to identify competitive advantages and market opportunities
- Drive adoption of exponential technologies through internal advocacy and external thought leadership
- Architect scalable frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Secure multi-million dollar R&D budgets for next-generation technology incubation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Certification in Future Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., APF, Foresight Institute)
- Experience securing $5M+ in technology innovation funding
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Mastery of scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
