Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, neural interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $10M+ annual budgets
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Develop strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts to Fortune 500 clients and industry consortiums
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs for next-gen computing infrastructure
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and internal R&D incubators
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching successful $50M+ tech initiatives
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field or equivalent experience
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Experience advising Fortune 100 CTOs on technology transformation
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, and global research institutions
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
