Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, metaverse infrastructure) to inform 2026+ strategic roadmap
- Develop and implement innovation frameworks for emerging tech adoption across enterprise divisions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting future tech deployment
- Create annual innovation budgets and resource allocation plans for emerging tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services with 2020+ impact
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR, blockchain, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business/Technology MBA
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies and rapid prototyping
- Certifications in emerging tech (e.g., AWS Quantum, Google AI) preferred
