Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmap aligning with 2026 market predictions
- Identify and validate emerging tech opportunities (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional teams in building proof-of-concepts for future platforms
- Present strategic recommendations to CTO and Board of Directors quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Build partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA for cutting-edge R&D
- Mentor junior strategists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy, innovation, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to business strategies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
