- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and emerging tech startups
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage R&D budget allocation for future-focused projects with global impact potential
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts to cultivate next-gen innovation capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology innovation or strategic planning within tech-forward organizations
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy frameworks and ethical implications of disruptive tech
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Track record of launching at least two technology initiatives with >$50M market impact
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society) or equivalent foresight methodology
