Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps spanning 3-5 years with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical execution with business objectives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions and validate market viability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor competitor tech portfolios and regulatory landscapes to maintain competitive advantage
- Manage innovation budget allocation and ROI analysis for strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or equivalent tech leadership role
- Proven track record developing future-facing tech roadmaps with successful implementation
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, or biotech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting to C-suite and technical/non-technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
