Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with company vision for 2026
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess strategic implications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory developments affecting future tech adoption
- Drive innovation culture through workshops and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-oriented tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate technical concepts into ROI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Certification in technology strategy or innovation management preferred
