Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and sustainable energy solutions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and commercial teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $500M+ market potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to C-suite and investors
- Drive patent development and IP strategy for breakthrough innovations
- Champion ethical tech frameworks and responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology ROI projections
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
- Experience navigating regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Certifications in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
