Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technologies including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and ambient AI
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate innovation workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and technology pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Monitor competitive landscapes and disruptor threats
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through pilot programs and POCs
- Establish KPIs for technology maturity and ROI
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in technology strategy and innovation management
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and long-term forecasting
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- Background in venture capital or corporate innovation labs preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology trends
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic initiatives
