Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 across quantum, biotech, and AI domains
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype futuristic solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Analyze emerging tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify first-mover advantages
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant applications and venture partnerships
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of radical innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience securing federal grants and corporate innovation funding
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
