Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for futuristic technologies
- Present strategic technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage R&D budget allocation for experimental projects with ROI projections
- Partner with academic institutions and government agencies on forward-looking research initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products with measurable market impact
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and forecasting
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing C-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry conferences
