Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum computing, AR/VR, generative AI)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation budgets and vendor partnerships for R&D initiatives
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices across product lifecycle
- Mentor junior strategists and foster an innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching commercialized tech products (quantum, AI, or blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and patent analysis
- Strong data visualization skills with proficiency in Python/Tableau
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and technology management
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
