Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate market shifts and competitive threats
- Translate complex technical concepts into strategic business frameworks
- Drive innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Measure KPIs for strategic adoption and ROI of future technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in anticipating and implementing disruptive technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Web3, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology innovation management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech implementations
