Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) and assess their business implications by 2026
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 5-year market evolution forecasts
- Champion ethical frameworks for AI deployment and responsible innovation across all product lines
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions in our Innovation Labs
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to the board and secure executive buy-in
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and their impact on global innovation ecosystems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research consortia
- Build and lead a cross-functional Future Tech task force
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or emerging tech roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of successfully implementing future-focused tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation management
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Strong understanding of ethical technology governance frameworks
- Published thought leadership on technology's societal impact preferred
