Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026-2035 technology foresight framework identifying disruptive innovation vectors
- Lead cross-functional working groups to evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for geopolitical and regulatory impacts on tech adoption
- Architect ethical AI governance frameworks and responsible innovation protocols
- Present strategic recommendations to the Innovation Board with data-backed ROI projections
- Manage $15M+ innovation portfolio balancing moonshots with incremental improvements
- Build external partnerships with leading research institutions and venture capital firms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published research on emerging technology trends (IEEE, Nature, or similar)
- Proven experience leading cross-continental innovation initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neural interfaces, or climate tech
- Proficiency in futures methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
