Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with transformative potential
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption
- Quantify ROI scenarios for emerging tech investments using predictive modeling
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on technology adoption priorities
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation impact and strategic execution
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups to accelerate R&D pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or corporate R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Proven track record of translating complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business/Technology Management
- Certification in innovation frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Lean Startup) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
