Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead strategic initiatives in emerging fields including quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape evaluations for emerging technologies
- Present technology strategy to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proof architecture and scalable solutions
- Identify and evaluate acquisition targets in nascent tech sectors
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Futures Forecasting preferred
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental initiatives
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
