Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026+ technology horizons, including AI ethics, quantum computing integration, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Develop and execute technology adoption roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present technology foresight insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with emerging tech startups, research institutions, and standards bodies
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on future technology deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or future-focused innovation roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or thought leadership in future technology trends
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, MIT certificate)
