Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and emerging scientific breakthroughs
- Lead research initiatives in next-gen computing paradigms (quantum, neuromorphic, bio-computing)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate predictive analytics into corporate strategy
- Establish innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping of 2026-era technologies
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish whitepapers on future trends
- Mentor junior futurists and build a dedicated foresight research team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (blockchain, AR/VR, generative AI)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals or equivalent industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Strong network with academic and industry innovation labs
