Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 3-year technology foresight framework identifying emerging trends with transformative potential
- Analyze market disruptions and competitive landscapes to inform strategic R&D investments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-state capabilities
- Create quantitative models for technology adoption timelines and ROI projections
- Represent the company at global tech forums and thought leadership summits
- Partner with product teams to embed future-tech considerations into roadmaps
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for the board of directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Business, or relevant field
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Track record of successfully launching future-focused initiatives
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology evolution
