Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into actionable innovation strategies
- Build financial models for technology investments and ROI projections
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of anticipating market shifts and translating them into business value
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (e.g., AI, biotech, space tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio of successful technology transformation initiatives
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
