Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological landscapes across AI, quantum, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Develop and publish annual Future Technology Impact Reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate emerging tech concepts into viable product roadmaps
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 innovation labs
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops to foster future-thinking culture
- Monitor geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Futures Studies; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of anticipating disruptive tech trends (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
