Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential for 2026 and beyond
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite executives
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Quantify ROI scenarios for emerging technologies through data-driven modeling
- Present innovation frameworks to investors and board members
- Mentor junior strategists in future technology methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology foresight
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data analysis and financial modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation portfolios
