Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy roadmap for 2026-2030, focusing on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technologies with potential market impact
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities and threats
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and responsible innovation
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed risk/reward assessments
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team of 8-12 specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale companies
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining technologies or products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or synthetic biology
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CMI, PDMA) or technology foresight methodologies
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level narratives
- Experience scaling technology initiatives from pilot to global deployment
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
